Tyler O' Brien, Class of 2015, is the fifth generation in his family to grow up in Ritzville, with his father (Todd O'Brien '87) and grandmother (Cheryl Ragsdale '65) preceding him as RHS alumni.

In high school, Tyler received varsity letters 10 times across football, basketball, track and field, and golf. While Tyler was in high school, the Broncos football team went 50-3, winning back-to-back state championships in his sophomore and junior year. Tyler loved FFA as much as sports. He participated on 6 state championship FFA teams, competed at nationals in Soil Judging, Meat Judging, and Marketing, and was the President of the Lind-Ritzville FFA chapter his senior year.

After graduating, Tyler went to WSU, where he involved himself heavily in fraternity life, earned a degree in Political Science, and met his wife, Gretchen. Tyler went on to law school at Gonzaga. He graduated and passed the Washington bar exam in 2021.  Shortly after, Tyler and Gretchen moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where they still live today.

Tyler now runs his own law practice, The Longhair Lawyer, providing consulting, business filing, and estate planning services to clients in Washington and California.
